So it’s time to decorate the Library! Hillcrest Orchards has once again donated a beautiful Christmas tree and we’ll be decorating it on Tuesday afternoon, Dec 9th (that’s tomorrow)
starting at 2pm. If you have time to join the fun, stop in, have some Kickapoo Orchard
apple cider & Christmas
cookies and help trim the tree! The Library will be open until 5:30 so kids can come after school and hang an ornament. Plus, there are lots of wonderful Christmas books, movies and magazines available for checkout to enjoy at home over the holiday vacation. Tuesdays the library is also open in the evening, from 7-9pm. Probably won’t be any cookies left by then…well, there might be:)
And here’s a save-the-date for Thursday afternoon, Dec. 18th, 3-5pm for a special presentation with slides at the library on the "Back-to-the-Land" project. The news release for next week’s Independent-Scout is attached for your reading pleasure
