Soldiers Grove Library News

Greetings Dear Friends, It’s Summer!
We are excited to announce the Soldiers Grove Library will resume regular open hours for brief visits on Monday, August 3, 2020!
In the meantime, our current, temporary open hours are: Tuesday, Thursday, 10am – 12 noon and 2-4 pm Walk-ins with mask, 30 minute limit, 8 person max capacity
Curbside pickup continues by appointment during our usual open hours: Monday, Wednesday 1:30 – 5:30 Tuesday, Thursday 10am – 7pm Friday, Saturday 10am – 1pm
Summer Reading Program: *Imagine Your Story!* Storytime with Ms. Morgan, socially distanced in the library courtyard Thursdays at 6pm, July 16 & 23, August 13 & 27
Please bring a blanket or chairs for your family to sit. We will be providing items for children to take home and make!
We have story time readings on our Soldiers Grove Library facebook page and website, soldiersgrovelibrary.org This week Ms Morgan reads “Old Rock (is not boring)” by Deb Pilutti. Check back every two weeks for more stories throughout the summer!
Inching our way toward a new Normal, we are trying to keep the library a clean place where you can be assured that it’s safe for you and your family to enjoy a brief visit and browse for some books, movies and magazines to take home. If everyone washes their hands with soap for 20 seconds at the hallway sink before entering, wears a mask and handles items sparingly we can all be assured that precautionary measures have been taken to prevent spread of COVID 19 at this time. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the library but hand washing has always been the best way to keep clean:) Please know that all high-touch surfaces are regularly sanitized by library staff and that circulating items are quarantined for 72 hours, in accordance with CDC guidelines.
I hope that you have found time to enjoy the beauty of Summer!
With fond wishes for good health,
*~Cele*
