Saturday March 26th NOON: Soldiers Grove Public Library Celebrate Words of the Driftless Region Catherine Young’s poetry and prose is published nationally and internationally and is featured in the Driftless Reader.
She lives in Richland County where she is in love with meandering streams.
Catherine’s 64th birthday celebration follows reading and book signing. All welcome! Dessert potluck out back.

What I need is the dandelion in the spring. The bright yellow that means rebirth instead of destruction. The promise that life can go on, no matter how bad our losses. Here are a few library updates to add to your calendars: * Storytime with Ms. Morgan every Tuesday @ 10:00 a.m. Meet us in the children’s section for stories, crafts, and snacks. These are geared for ages 3-6, but all ages are welcome. We can’t wait for you to join us!
* Saturday, March 26th @ noon—Author reading by Catherine Young on her newest book of poems, Geosmin. A dessert potluck to follow. All are welcome!
* Book Club: Join us virtually or in-person for intelligent, lively discussions! We meet the 4th Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Please contact Sarah if you want to join or if you have some book suggestions for our future meetings. March 28th: Maid by Stephanie Land; April 25th: Circe by Madeline Miller.
